Growing up

Let me tell you about Lola.

She still calls herself Big girl Lolly but also answers to Lolly, Lulu or Bub - mostly from her brother and sister. I picture her still getting called Bub when she's in her thirties.

She's so much more extroverted than her siblings, they often use her to ask people for something that they're too shy to ask for themselves. Lola's happy to do it though.

She gives her love away, too easily. Last week when we were in a menswear shop she wrapped her arms around the sales assistants leg, looked up and gave her the most adorable smile. The lady was quite chuffed! She did the same thing to our Property Manager. I have a hunch she is a relative of Miss De Vil though, she was repulsed at Lola's display of affection.

She still loves animals - and would so dearly love a pet dog (having the dog park only a short walk away is keeping her happy for the time being). She loves unicorns too.

She loves music and loves to dance. We hop in the car and a song will come on that she likes. "Louder Daddy, louder, louder, louder!". I never knew anyone could break out such crazy moves while constrained to a carseat.

She could easily polish off a punnet of cherry tomatoes in one sitting, and has before.

She loves to tell her daddy he's handsome. And when he's being a goofball, she will tell him that too.

She turns three next week.

  1. She is such beautiful little girl inside and out, I have a huge soft spot for Lola. You are very lucky to have her. :)

PS - maybe she thought the PM was me ;-)

  2. LOL! Funny you say that, when she arrived she pointed out that she was wearing high heels like "Cashy".
