Last month I received an email from a fellow homeschooling mum in the US. Her children were keen to collaborate on a 'travel teddy' project with an international brood of kids, and they asked mine! The kiddos were super keen to join in. We had to buy a teddy that will be travelling to the home of the Grady family. Naturally we picked a koala, a very cute one named Kiki.
Today we received their care package which had bundled up their 'teddy', a monkey named Rocket along with a map of his hometown, a 'passport', some colouring pages, sweet penned letters, and a diary.
For the next little while the kids will write, photograph and draw pictures of our daily experiences so the Grady kids can see what our life is like in Australia, and they will do the same for us. So from now on expect to see a monkey popping up in all our pictures!
We're off to Port Macquarie in the morning for a few days away, I'm looking forward to getting a new hair colour and style, and spending some relaxing time at the day spa!
Have a great week, friends!

oh Kiki is such a cute name! lol
